Jan 31, 2012 - Good news for all the Norah Jones fans out there! The singer is set to release a new album in spring called 'Little Broken Hearts.' This will be Jones' fifth studio CD and she will be joined by producer and musician, Danger Mouse who is notably the backbone for the project. He also co-wrote many of the tunes with her. 
Jan 24, 2012 - Bruce Springsteen is full speed ahead with his new album due out in March. “Wrecking Ball” will be his 17th studio album and is produced by heavy hitter Ron Aniello (Patti Scialfa, Jars of Clay) and talent thrown in from Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machines) and members of the E Street Band. 
January 24, 2012 - It’s a done deal as Paul has announced (via his website) that he will be preforming at the 54th annual Grammy Awards in L.A. on Feb 12. This is also a very special occasion for him as he’s nominated this year for Best Historical Album for "Band On The Run." McCartney is definitely no stranger to the stage and if he pulls this one in it will be his 15th Grammy win in all. 
January 23, 2012 - John Mayer has been out of the spotlight since he cancelled numerous gigs last year to undergo throat surgery. His decision to finally go under the knife was necessary after attempts to rest his voice did not help. In the meantime, John had to regroup and push back the release of his new album.

Avril Lavigne to Mellow out on New Album But Will She Be Nice? Though the Duff-war was never taken seriously because, after all, it’s hard to take Hilary Duff seriously for anything musical, Hilton did make things difficult for Lavigne. In an entertainment world where perception is everything, Perez did profile Lavigne as an angry talentless has-been. It didn’t help that he has millions more fans than she does and instead of ignoring the bloggers attacks the singer launched her own site to counter attack Perez – it didn’t work and made her look even more petty. In June 2007, one of Lavigne’s songwriters Chantal Kreviazuk, spoke disparagingly about her ability and ethics, later she took it all back. Did the lawyers get involved? A month before songwriters James Gangwer and Tommy Dunbar sued Lavigne over the tune “Girlfriend.” If it was plagiarized we will never know because six months later the pair signed a confidential settlement and said "we are satisfied that any similarities between the two songs resulted from Avril and Luke's use of certain common and widely used lyrics". Well that was convenient. How has all this drama affected the singer? She told Billboard magazine that she’s going softer on her new album. He fourth will be stripped down, "A lot of the songs are mainly the acoustic and my vocal," says Lavigne. "It's a lot different from anything I've done before. It's not a pop rock record. This is more about emotion and feeling." Her husband, Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley produced 8 tunes on the disc, "I'm kind of just keeping it in the family with all of my close friends," says Lavigne,. "I started this record off really slow, just writing songs at home on my piano. I didn't work with a ton of people this time." Lavigne’s last album, “The Best Damn Thing” was considered a disappointment sales-wise, it sold 1.6 million copies. The new project is expected in November on RCA. July 29, 2009 – If there ever was a bratty singer it’s Avril Lavigne. She’s been accused multiple times of not appreciating her fans. In fact the famous war between Lavigne and Hilary Duff was started when the former Disney princess accused Lavigne of not caring for her fans. Some might say, “what fans?” since Lavgine’s last tour was plagued with her losing her voice and terrible tickets sales. Lavigne also had a war with famous blogger Perez Hilton. He did give Lavigne a few words in his blog this week, asking if “anyone would care” that she is returning.
