Is Britney Lying About Being Forced to Hire Dance Double?
February 3, 2011 – Rumors are locked and loaded – they stick to the bone. When someone spreads a rumor it has power, whether true or not. Couple that with someone’s reputation and things can turn either way. Yesterday's big rumor was that Britney Spears' dancing was so bad when working on her new video that the director was forced to bring in a dance double to finish the steps. Believable? Of course, True? Britney fans would never swallow it but the rest of us sure see the possibility. Dancing on many music videos is a tough gig and Britney isn't exactly the poster child of discipline but that doesn't mean the rumor is true.

Now, of course, Britney has slammed reports that her new video “Hold It Against Me” featured someone elses fancy footwork because of her struggles with the choreography. Yesterday TMZ broke the story that “multiple sources” claimed that Jonas Akerlund, the director, had called in dancing double Allison Kyler to get the job done. Later it was reported that Britney “left the set crying.”

The Spears camp shot back saying, "These accusations could not be further from the truth. "Britney worked extremely hard on this video and rehearsed for six weeks prior to shoot."

Pink Not Interested in Britney Spears Comparisons    
April 28, 2009 – Last year when Pink was putting together plans for her ‘Funhouse’ album and tour, she was excited at such an original idea, something fresh and exiting that had a big-top theme. That’s until Britney Spears came back.  "Had I known that certain other people were going to base their latest thing about circus things, I probably would have went into another direction," Pink told Associated Press. "I was six months before that and didn't really understand that it was a trend that was happening. I'm pretty out of the loop."

With Spears’ ‘Circus’ album and tour (which started in March) on the road at the same time as Pink, could there be any confusion? Well, let’s see Britney never seems to sing live, has exposed numourous x-rated body parts during her gigs and even had a flapping tampon incident in the last week. Pink, who did film her nipple piercing years ago, has had a less successful but much more respected recording career. Her gritty tunes seem like more of an expression of her true personality than Britney’s media spins. Oh, yeah and Pink isn't nuts.

Pink understands that the Britney comparisons will dog her throughout the tour (tickets go on sale this Saturday) but she’s also fielding as many questions about her ex-husband Carey Hart. The media seems fixed on the idea that the pair plan to remarry, “I don't know where the remarriage thing came from,” she says, "That kind of came out of the air." More

Britney Spears: Have Vagina, Will Travel    
March 11, 2009 – Britney Spears just showed 20 thousand people her crotch and it was an accident? During her comeback show in Tampa, Florida on Sunday her tiny leotard ripped showing the world her kids exit door.

Spears had just performed ‘I'm A Slave 4 U’ and shouted "My pussy was hanging out!" Then, of course the audience went berserk. Britney seemed surprised that her mic was actually on. Why is that Britney? It’s a prerequisite to have your microphone on if you sing live, after all.

Parents Group Wants Britney Song Banned But Not Because it’s Crap?
January 25, 2009 – If there ever was a little cutie that deserved to be banned from radio airwaves, it’s Britney Spears. My old grandma Oralie sounds like a cat stuck in a timing belt but she can sing circles around Britney – and she’s been dead for 10 years.

Interestingly, the Parents Television Council is warning parents to ban Britney’s new tune ‘If U Seek Amy’ because it "would violate the broadcast indecency law.” Isn’t the fact that the song sucks canal water enough?

The group says the tune produces a sound akin to the F-word. Tim Winter, president of PTC says, "There is no misinterpreting the lyrics to this song, and it's certainly not about a girl named Amy,"

"It's one thing for a song with these lyrics to be included on a CD so that fans who wish to hear it can do so, but it's an entirely different matter when this song is played over the publicly-owned airwaves, especially at a time when children are likely to be in the listening audience," Winter says.

"If U Seek Amy" has sold over 107,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. – by John Beaudin

3 Dorks Junction – Britney, Justin and Madonna on the Same Stage
Nov. 7, 2008 – I thought there were four horsemen of the apocalypse? Last night Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake joined Madonna on stage in Los Angeles for her ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour.

It was Britney’s first performance since her disastrous stint in 2007 at the MTV Video Music Awards. She joined a  weird-looking guitar-wielding Madonna on stage in a pretend surprise visit. Timberlake got on stage later in the show. Britney and Justin were never under the lights together.

Other celebrities in the audience and backstage included, Fergie, Drew Barrymore, Heidi Klum, Nicole Ritchie and Jennifer Lopez. No one was harmed from the Stench coming out of the speakers. – by John Beaudin

Ghalip Slams Reports on Britney Spears Sex Tape
Oct. 3, 2008 – I’m getting dizzy just watching the merry-go-round on this one. The man who’s been accused of trying to sell Britney Spears sex tape is now saying liar, liar, pants on fire. Adnan Ghalib who dated Spears 9 months ago called the Ryan Seacrest show yesterday to clear things up but he didn’t actually appear on the show. I can’t get past anybody trying to clear his name by actually calling Ryan Seacrest! Maybe Ghalip missed the Emmy’s this year. Adnan spoke to Seacrest’s sidekick, Negative Natalie and she says he told her, “I know that people hate me, I know that I'm one of the most hated men in America.” Natalie adds, "Everything he said was in consideration of Britney's feelings. ... He didn't want it (sex tape story) to overshadow the good stuff that she's doing. ... He was very nice.” Yeah that Adnan dude is my freakin’ hero. Now Ghalip has hired litigation counsel in England to go after any tabloids who mis-quote him. You know, I had a dream last night that this ex-paparazzi guy tried selling a sex tape featuring his superstar ex-girlfriend but then this awesome thing happened – she bought it back from him. Britney Sex Tape Really Exists?
Oct 2, 2008 – Perverts of the world have finally got their due. It’s the little victories that count to them. This is another case of acid burnin' terrible karma for Adnan Ghalip or maybe Britney Spears. Turns out there may very well be a Britney sex tape owned by former boyfriend Ghalip. Report says that the video featuring Spears wearing nothing but a pink wig has adult websites bidding as much as $10 million dollars. But wait, there’s more. Now insiders say that Britney herself is set to bid on the tape. Britain’s Daily Star reported, ‘Britney’s lawyers have been working overtime. They’ve been told to do whatever it takes to stop the video making it onto the internet.' Interestingly people close to Britney say the tape does not exist. The leak from Ghalip says the two hour video features the singer stripping and dancing for the photographer and doing what adults do.

It's easy to see that old Britney was making some bad choices earlier this year when she was dating Ghalip. "What was she thinking" doesn't even scratch the surface on this one. Is There a Britney Spears Sex Tape?
Sept. 30, 2008 – That nice fellow Britney Spears was hangin’ with when she was a little nuts says he has a sex video featuring the singer. Adnan Ghalip, who was crucified by his own kind – the paparazzi during his time with Spears says, “There is such a tape, but I won't discuss prices. Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further." He goes on to say the person who has the right price will get the video.

The video was allegedly shot in Mexico while the pair was on holiday. Ghalip says Spears wears a pink wig throughout the shoot. Rumour has it at one point in the video Adnan ask Spears to take off the wig, to which she responds “there’s nothing left to take off.”

Adnan told Heat magazine: "Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further. I am not interested in selling out any other details about Britney."

However a source close to Spears says, "The story is completely false

The pair broke up in Jan. 2008 in the middle of a chaotic time for the singer that saw her unravel in front of the world. The slide seemed to have started after she split from husband Kevin Ferderline. There was of course that disastrous performance on the MTV video awards and many shots of the singer half dressed and showing her pookie while getting out of her car.

Since the announcement yesterday, Adnan has dropped off the face of the earth. His phone is disconnected and seems impossible to reach. Maybe he’s too busy counting his dirty money. – by John Beaudin
