A Disappointing Return for Sade
REVIEW - Sade – Soldier of Love
June 16, 2010 – There’s always been an understated value to everything that Sade does and sameness to her entire repertoire. That quality of old wine has served the singer/band well… until now. Unlike Norah Jones who has, at least, tried to mix-up-the-pot, Sade really needs to stop wearing the same dress to every party. MORE

Christina Aguilera: “I'm Just a Very Sexual Person By Nature”
June 17, 2010 - How one looks at sexuality can change with the arrival of a child. Though many things went topsy turvy for Christina Aguilera after having her son Max, the singer maintains that she’s still the same sexual being she was before being a mother.

She told The Observer: "For a while your body is definitely not your body and you very willingly give it up for your child, but now I feel more confident and comfortable with what my body can do.”

Aguilera is set to appear opposite Cher in the new movie ‘Burlesque’ and says the whole experience helped her plug into her naughty side, "I'm just a very sexual person by nature, that's partly why I agreed to do the movie that I did. I just think the art of the tease is a beautiful art form."

On motherhood the singer says,  "I think all of us as women have this super-human quality. We create life, we give life, we are the sources of life for our children - we're all pretty bionic." – by John Beaudin

Christina Aguilera Points out, “I’m Still a Super Bitch”
Oct. 9, 2008 – Why be a nice little chickadee when you can be a “Super Bitch.” That’s what Christina Aguilera is calling herself. The singer says just because she’s a mom doesn’t mean she’s changed her personality – ok, so tell us something we didn’t know? After having her first child with Jordan Bratman this past January the singer noticed how many other performers kind of mellowed out after having a baby. Not Aguilera, 'It’s like the line in my new single, 'Keeps Getting’ Better’, says, 'I’m still a super-bitch.’ 'I want to be the best mom I can be but I also want to show my son who I am as a person, not just this woman who changes diapers and breast feeds.' Oh, come on Christina, have you ever changed a diaper in your life?

The diva says, 'I’m not going to go down the safe route because I have had a child. Motherhood hasn’t changed me.” Aguilera seems to think a lot of mothers are a little too serious with the job of mothering. In fact she says as a mother and a performer, 'It’s all about playfulness and having fun now.' – by John Beaudin

Christina Aguilera Defends her right to Party
Christina Aguilera partyJune 11, 2008 – Are mothers not allowed to have fun? That’s the way Christina Aguilera feels these days. The singer says she feels like she’s in jail sometimes when it comes to going out and having fun. She gave birth to son, Max Liron in January and says, "I spend all day with my son and once in a while if I want to go out and have a mommy-daddy night with my husband, I am more than allowed to do that.” She adds, "They never air footage of the paparazzi actually pulling up beside my husband and being like: 'When is she going to leave the house? I have been trying to get a picture of her for weeks.”

Of course we have been corrupted by the likes of Britney Spears and Anna Nicole Smith where as parents we’ve all found ourselves yelling at them on screen.

"Everybody has an opinion and everybody sometimes wants to cause drama and be mean spirited, but it's something that comes with what you do and I learned that very early on." says Aguilera. – by John Beaudin
