A Disappointing Return for Sade
REVIEW - Sade – Soldier of Love
June 16, 2010 – There’s always been an understated value to everything that Sade does and sameness to her entire repertoire. That quality of old wine has served the singer/band well… until now. Unlike Norah Jones who has, at least, tried to mix-up-the-pot, Sade really needs to stop wearing the same dress to every party. MORE

Would You Forgive LeAnn Rimes If She Was Nude?
April 3, 2011 – LeAnn Rimes has a great plan. To keep her relationship, with Eddie Cibrian, cemented she will only argue in the nude. What’s wrong with that?

She tweeted,  “A good friend just told me that the key to a successful marriage was to argue naked! I'm gonna do that from now on, when that rarely happens. (sic)”

It could just be a plan to stop men around the world from trash-talking the singer for cheating on her husband, Dean Sheremet, then lying about it for months. If that's her plan LeAnn might want to eat a sandwich or two because with her new scary skinny, "Allie McBeal" diet she probably looks like a 12 year old boy naked!

Rimes also preached about woman fighting with each other, because after all she is an expert after having a war of words with Cibrian’s ex-wife, “must say, there is nothing more unattractive than a woman who puts another woman down. Us women already have enough problems in this crazy world, love each other.”

She also said, “Speak kindly even to your "enemies" if there are really such a thing. I believe "enemies" are in YOUR head, you create them. LOVE ALL...at least try.(sic)”

As Rimes defended herself she said, “You have two couples whose marriages didn't work. We stumbled upon each other and fell in love. Never was I thinking of hurting someone."

People cheat, it’s harsh and unfair but it happens. I’d bet just as many people are mad at LeAnn for cheating as they are at her for getting caught red-handed on camera and still denying it. – by John Beaudin

LeAnn Rimes Admits Her Affair with Eddie Cibrian Was “Selfish”
June 5, 2010 – Things that make you go DUH! LeAnn Rimes might be concerned about her image after all the terrible publicity surrounding her affair with Eddie Cibrian. She’s finally speaking out after sites like Perez Hilton.com and TMZ have been ripping her to shreds.

Now she says  “I did one of the most selfish things that I possibly could do, in hurting someone else.” The 27 year old adds, “I take responsibility for everything I’ve done. I hate that people got hurt. But I don’t regret the outcome.”

While filming the TV movie ‘Northern Lights’ in 2008 the pair were constantly spotted getting all cutesy and they seemed to make things worse by denying anything was going on.

Rimes was married to dancer Dean Sheremet at the time and says after meeting Cibrian,  “It was very emotionally driven. I never once thought what I was doing was ok.”

The singer told People magazine: 'It wasn’t a marriage that fulfilled either one of us.' – by John Beaudin

OK, LeAnn Rimes, It’s Time to Admit You’re Kissy-Face with Eddie Cibrian
July 24, 2009 – We’ve all had "hand in the cookie jar" moments. Mom walks in and we present her with some form of a smoking gun. We’re caught, that’s it, end of story right? Not really. Most of us will deny everything on first count. It’s human nature to deny. Hell, just for the fun of it, I deny ever writing this story.

A few months ago when LeAnn Rimes was caught all Kissy-face in a restaurant with Eddie Cibrian their individual reactions were interesting. Rimes’ ultimate statement was "This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support. I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white."  That was fair. When someone has a fling there’s always a deeper story involved. It’s important to note that she didn’t totally deny anything.

Eddie vehemently denied everything. His people released the following statement, "Other than being friends and two actors who were romantically intertwined in a movie-for-TV we filmed last fall, there is no truth to the reporting. It is a fabricated story that is using random snapshots as connective tissue to create a scandalous relationship." Huh? We all saw the video!

As a side note I once interviewed Cibrian and found him arrogant and childish. I actually had to end the interview because of his behaviour. In 30 years in Broadcasting I’ve never had to do that. There is a possibility he was having an “off” day but I doubt it. If it  quacks like a duck……

Now Eddie's wife Brandi Glanville has left the actor and told US Weekly, "Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart. I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other."

Other magazines have reported Eddie and LeAnn’s friends talking about the affair. Rimes had no comment. – by John Beaudin

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Affair: A Publicity Stunt?     Bookmark and Share
April 17, 2009 – It’s a bit ironic that LeAnn Rimes new book and song are both titled "What I Cannot Change." After being caught on camera being cuddly with her Lifetime movie co-star Eddie Cibrian, she declined to talk to Matt Lauer’s about the affair on the Today show, saying she "refuses to discuss tabloid rumors." Is it still a rumor if it’s caught on tape and viewed by millions on YouTube or is it just a publicity scam?

Now the juice that’s circling around is the whole thing was being set up by Rimes, Cibrian and the Lifetime Channel to get attention to their TV movie. Unfortunately it probably worked. With both spouses standing by their sides it seems both Rimes and Cibrian are living in bliss as if nothing happened – one side is lying.

Trying to squash all the buzz husband Dean Sheremet has been by her side at various TV appearances and book signings, telling the press, "It's all good."  He is dealing with his own dirty tabloid rumors; sites like Perez Hilton.com are saying that he’s gay as a lark.

"People are fascinated by my personal life and I totally get it," she told Lauer. “I get to write books like this and write songs like this and affect people's lives. And I think through the song 'What I Cannot Change,' having touched so many people, that's what I believe I'm here to do.”- by John Beaudin
