Jan 31, 2012 - Good news for all the Norah Jones fans out there! The singer is set to release a new album in spring called 'Little Broken Hearts.' This will be Jones' fifth studio CD and she will be joined by producer and musician, Danger Mouse who is notably the backbone for the project. He also co-wrote many of the tunes with her. 
Jan 24, 2012 - Bruce Springsteen is full speed ahead with his new album due out in March. “Wrecking Ball” will be his 17th studio album and is produced by heavy hitter Ron Aniello (Patti Scialfa, Jars of Clay) and talent thrown in from Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machines) and members of the E Street Band. 
January 24, 2012 - It’s a done deal as Paul has announced (via his website) that he will be preforming at the 54th annual Grammy Awards in L.A. on Feb 12. This is also a very special occasion for him as he’s nominated this year for Best Historical Album for "Band On The Run." McCartney is definitely no stranger to the stage and if he pulls this one in it will be his 15th Grammy win in all. 
January 23, 2012 - John Mayer has been out of the spotlight since he cancelled numerous gigs last year to undergo throat surgery. His decision to finally go under the knife was necessary after attempts to rest his voice did not help. In the meantime, John had to regroup and push back the release of his new album.

January 19, 2012 - Steven Tyler of Aerosmith never ceases to amaze me. He sat in on an Ellen DeGeneres show recently and proceeded to explain why he decided over the Christmas holidays to marry girlfriend Erin Brady.

July 26, 2011 - Although Dan Peek left the group America in 1977 he is certainly not forgotten as a member of the famous band. Peek passed away on July 24 of undisclosed causes. He was 60. More Drama for Sara Evans – Ex-Husband Claims “Drug & Alcohol” Conditions Around Their Children This week he filed for joint custody in Tennessee to "protect the children from the likelihood of substantial harm" while Sara is on tour. He also claims that the children rarely spend time with the singer and are exposed to inappropriate conduct. He goes as far as saying that the singer even "encouraged and condoned underage drinking."Evans plans on touring later this month. – by John Beaudin

Where’s My Teeth? Will Sara Evans Turn into a Soap Opera Again? Maybe blabbing all over town even helped her career, maybe she thought of that long before I did. Maybe she didn’t come out of that looking as bad as her crazy-buns ex but something about her opportunistic behaviour made me suspicious of her Martha-everybody persona. For a person who was claiming to be protecting her kids through this tsunami divorce she sure was making sure they’d hear every juicy morsel from her either first or second hand. I always say you can tell a lot about a person by how they break up. Evans plans of releasing her first inspiration novel later this year. She says it’s an "emotional, southern-flavored, multi-generational tale, featuring a compelling love story." The singer adds, "I believe there is power in great stories, this is the kind of book I love to read and share." I wonder if it will include an evil twin, hiding a secret past, ready to suck the very life out of you. Is it just me or is Sara Evans not on the “A” list for motivational speakers. Sure, what she lived through was tough but she also handled the mess like a crocodile in a chicken coop. Who knows maybe Sara has learnt that two wrongs don’t make a right and maybe drama is not her muse anymore. Evans’ new album, produced by Nathan Chapman, will also be released later this year unless she gets amnesia of course or finds out her current husband is really her half brother who she traded away for a pony but not before he brainwashed her into thinking her inside voice should be served hotter than two rats humpin' in a wool sock. – by John Beaudin |
