Ravi Shankar - Yeah, I am also very excited to be going out after a long gap. John - A little while ago I interviewed Dave Brubeck who is also in his eighties and he says people come up to him all the time and ask him when he's going to retire and he says he doesn't understand such a question. October 31, 2010 – This project started after Elton John just happened to mention his chief influences on “Spectacle,” a TV program hosted by Elvis Costello and produced by him and partner David Furnish.
October 31, 2010 - Grammy Award-winning artist Norah Jones has announced that she will release a 18-track CD of collaborations with a broad range of artists. “Featuring,” due Nov. 16, has collaborations that she has recorded in the past with such artist as Sean Bones, Dirty Dozen Brass Band and the Foo Fighters.
October 28, 2010 – Rihanna seems to be doing what most smart people do when they get cold cocked by their boyfriend, she asked God “What did I do to deserve this?” The singer told UK's Marie Claire magazine. “God has a crazy way of working, and sometimes when stuff happens you feel like, what did I do to deserve this?" Why was it backfiring on me?”
October 28, 2010 - Kurt Cobain is still dead but the two other guys are getting back together. According to Dave Grohl the next Foo Fighters album will feature a Nirvana reunion, of sorts, with his former bandmate Krist Novoselic. Grohl told The pulse of Radio Novoselic will play bass on at least one track on the project that's due in 2011.
October 20, 2010 - Less than a week after the birth of her first child, Alicia Keys now has something else to celebrate as she was nominated this week for four Soul Train Awards.
October 16, 2010 - Sade has picked up two nods as the nominations for the 38th annual American Music Awards have been announced. She is nominated as favorite female artist in the soul/R&B category, and will be competing against Alicia Keys and Rihanna.
October 2, 2010 - Grammy Award-winning vocalist Sade has announced her highly anticipated return to the live stage and fans in North America will see her first.
September 26, 2010 – After 22 years it's over for Nancy Wilson and Cameron Crowe. Wilson, one half of the band Heart, filed the papers yesterday (Sept. 23, 2010) citing irreconcilable differences. The couple has been separated since June 15 of this year. 

Even
though he left the Eagles after the Hotel California
tour in 1977 Randy Meisner will always be remembered
as the voice of 'Take it to the Limit' and 'Midnight
Flyer.' He still sings those Eagles hits live
in his latest band the World Class Rockers but
mostly he lives the simple life in his house
in the hills of Studio City Los Angeles. We
talked to Randy by phone. 
Some
of us find God in the details and others with a mantra surrounded by our own silence.
World music legend Ravi Shankar who became a household name in the mid sixties
through his association with George Harrison and the Beatles has always found
God while creating and performing his own music. His friendship with Harrison
was strong right up until his death in November, 2001
