Rock History Book Set to Launch as Radio Station and syndicated Radio Short|
September, 2011 – It seems fitting that Rock History Book is finally launching as a radio station but it’s a special event now that the program is returning, where it started in 1985, as a syndicated radio short. Starting November 1st the resurrected segment will feature host Emma Harding, daughter of Eddie Hardin (Emma changed the spelling) of the Spencer Davis Group. It will be a 30 second “today-in-history” segment.
Emma grew up and went to school with other children in Rock n Roll Royalty including Roger Waters of Pink Floyd’s daughter, Ringo Starr, Mick Jagger and Ronnie Woods kids, the list is long. Emma started her own recording career in England. She moved to Canada in 2005 and was hired by John Beaudin, Operations Manager of the Air-Com Radio Network to host a show on the station ‘California 103.’
Popular writer Steve Burgess was the first host of the syndicated, short version, of Rock History Book in 1985. Later Beaudin took over the feature 1986-1989.
Emma will first debut the program on Monday, October 3rd the Rock History Book Radio station but it will not go into syndication until November 1st.
